Anno 2023, I own 42 editions of the book, it has been published in Dutch, English, French, Italian, Norwegian and Czech.

Six copies contain signatures of the author, two have a signature of an Arnhem Veteran.

It is difficult to find intact covers of the first copies, the french and Czech editons are very rare and hard to get.

The first was released in 1945, the latest edtion is from 2012.

The story was also published a local newspaper in Renkum (Oosterbeek) 34 little stories appeared in "De Renkumse Koerier"from October 1945 until March 1946.

It also appeared in two Dutch magazines in 1945, and was published under "Luchtbrug naar Arnhem" in Dutch in 1974.
